Just spoke to Henry

I like when we talk - it makes me think - which i don't usually like to do.
He told me he didn't leave his house all weekend.
We also talked about the Graduate-how it is just an incredibly well-done movie. Everything in it is there for a reason and it cuts to the core of the characters emotions and mindsets.

HOUSE UPDATE:
nancy and I have received approval of our loan which means we just have to close the deal.
It's funny, I have always been a free spender and not worried too much about money, but now that I have a house and property it makes me wish I had been more careful. From now on I have to budget and stick to it.

It is easier to do that, living up in Central New York State—as I don't find myself so into the material up here. I don't need the latest and greatest this or that and don't feel compelled to create an identity around the clothes I wear, the phone I have, the movies I see, the music I listen to , the TV shows I watch. Those all seem like masks now. That's not to say that wearing a mask isn't fun once in a while, but I feel like I know more about myself without those things. Don't get me wrong, I still like 'nice things' and escape reality more often than I probably should (video games and othe extracurricular activities) but when it isn't constantly surrounding you it is easier to be more selective.
